Linguistic Department

Currently, two languages, the mother-tongue, Burmese and English languages are mainly taught at the University. With the aim of being proficient and get exposure in using those two languages, on the one hand, Burmese language is being taught in order to have systematic grammatical usage in formal office writing. On the other hand, all subjects and teaching materials are fully prescribed in English language. Moreover, English is being taught as the School Main Language as the students have to take written exams in English and do and write researches, the lessons are delivered   in hybrid form (20% Burmese and 80% English) by the teachers. In cooperation with other universities, other languages such as Japanese, German, Chinese and Korean are being delivered.
